National Pain Awareness Month

More people suffer from pain than diabetes, heart disease, and cancer combined. The good news is that with proper pain management, most pain can be greatly eased.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy involves treatment, healing, and prevention of injuries or disabilities. PT helps to relieve pain, promote healing, and restore function and movement. Keeping a consistent exercise routine will also help with chronic pain. PT tackles the physical side of inflammation, stiffness, and soreness with exercise, manipulation, and massage, but is also works to help the body heal itself by encouraging the production of the body's natural pain relieving chemicals.
