August is...

National Immunization Awareness Month

National Immunization Awareness Month is the perfect time to prevent yourself against the upcoming flu season and all communicable diseases by getting all your vaccines or booster vaccines. Immunizations or vaccinations are not just for babies and young kids. Immunizations are one of the most effective ways to protect children and adults against many common infectious diseases. Recommended vaccinations soon begin after birth and continue throughout life, and it's important to get the right vaccines in the right doses at the right time.

Physical Therapy
Both physical therapy and immunizations benefit by strengthening your body to remain healthy and decreasing you chance of illness. While immunizations fight and protect the body of illness, physical therapy involves treatment, healing, and prevention of injuries or disabilities. Physical therapy helps to relieve pain, promote healing, and restore function and movement.
